We left Tillebrook mid-morning and headed for Drumheller, about 120 K away and another 120 K from Calgary. Drumheller seems to be something of an Alberta tourist mecca, with the usual mini golf and go-karts, and of course a giant dinosaur. We headed up to the Dinosaur Trails RV park where an hour or so later, and after some hassle with the check-in people (our only hassle of any kind so far on this trip), the Conveys showed up.
The Conveys (Glen, Jacquie) are former Deep Coveonians (now in Maple Ridge) with 3 boys (Cameron, Robert, Michael) of similar ages to ours and they are into RV’ing even more than we are (they just bought a gigantic fifth wheel). We ended up BS’ing around the campfire and so on til about midnight.
