Quebec City #1

Quebec City #1

Up at 8:00 and in downtown QC by 10. We started off biking again, which I intended to be 45 minutes and ended up being almost 3 hours, with stops at the Coast Guard museum and some Saint Lawrence history place on the way.

Biking in Quebec is awesome – like Montreal, QC has a massive network of picturesque, near-flat bike trails. After that, we took a taxi up to the Chateau Frontenac, and wandered around there for a couple of hours. There is an awesome terrace / boardwalk there that stretches on for ages, and looks out over the St. Lawrence. And there are lots of street performers there, including a couple of guys who did a pretty amazing juggling show.

Finally we took the Funiculaire (cable car) down the hill and walked back to the RV, stopping to watch some radio-control sailboats on the way. This got us back to the RV around 7 PM for a couple of hours of catch and Yahtzee.
